CANTILEVER BOAT LIFTS |
A cantilever lift
works well for lakes that are smaller; where the waves do not usually get
more than 18-inches high. More water depth is required than for a vertical
lift to load and unload your boat, but it is a much simpler design with
less maintenance required over the years. |

A Hewitt lift can
add years to the life of your boat by keeping it safely above the damaging
effects of waves, algae and floating debris.

Hewitt has been setting industry standards for performance and durability for over
30 years. An investment in the best means long-term savings when compared to the cost of repairing and replacing lower quality lifts.
These rugged general purpose lifts have a long track record of trouble-free performance. The cantilever design requires few moving parts for superior reliability. The design also incorporates a natural mechanical advantage that actually makes operation easier as the boat is raised higher.
Whether you require a lift capacity of
700
pounds, 4,800 pounds or anything in between, we have a cantilever lift to meet your needs.

Self-adjusting cradle and keel protectors are standard on all models. Optional deluxe rubber cradles and keel protectors are also available
as well as full length bunks and guide steps.
|
Leveling legs are standard for models 1800 pounds and up - optional on smaller lifts. Exterior mounted legs allow easier adjustment and help prevent jamming.
|
Material thru-hole construction provides superior strength. We don't rely on welding only. |

Weight is carried on large, double reinforced pivot points, not just a
bolt. |
Extra large gussets are used to
increase stability and minimize stress on the frame. |
Reinforced pulley boxes, all-steel, zinc plated or plastic pulleys and
galvanized cable - not rope. |

Models under 2,400 pounds include a standard self-braking winch. Larger
models feature Hewitt's high-efficiency chain drive winch.
Hewitt also offers "WIDE 'N'
LONG BODY LIFTS"
These cantilever lifts are
built solid and are heavily reinforced for today's extra wide, extra long
crafts. They include standard boat cradles or may be equipped with two
optional cradle systems for pontoon boats.
The Pontoon Rack Kit
lifts under the deck and provides a guide to position your pontoon. A
second option is the Carpeted Wood Bed. This system features two fully
adjustable bunks that cradle the pontoons and are covered with marine
carpeting for full length protection.
All Wide 'N' Long models
feature Hewitt's high efficiency self-braking chain-driven winch with
enclosed gears and front and rear leveling legs.
Optional Canopies and
other accessories are available for all models.
